and the big news.. we got the passport with visa

it was issued on 1st Apr and DM was 4 Apr received on 8 Apr

Wow, good news Friday for a few it looks like. Congrats and all the best. Now you can get your wife to board that plane anytime you want to.

Ok...this Friday is getting really exciting!!!
My husband had received his passport req just today!!!!whewwwwww!!!!

The date on the PPR is Apr 05 and recvd on Apr 08 (he is in Chennai...)... that was fast!
I'm still trying to recover from the excitement...I can't imagine what it'll feel like when he actually gets his visa!!!
so far..so good..and hopefully everything will go smoothly!!!
Just wanted to share it with u guys and hope everyone gets their PPR soon too...!!! ;D ;D ;D ;D

To get everyone's mind off eCAS- what do all the sponsor's do in Canada? What's your profession? Where do you live in Canada?
I'm in Toronto in consulting.

@Def - usually it does not take so much time...have you checked with your postman?

Again, there is not time frame for this...waitingforwife had to wait for close to 3 months to get the PP back, and Nylalisa sent her passport in Jan and it is on the way back to her...
Usually they do return PP back with visa within 3-5 weeks, but its not always been the case...always hope for the best but it is ND u know

Hmm nylalisa..i am told that mine is on the way from Miss-Ottawa- and instead of going to ND..it ended up in Antartica..i bet they have just posted it from there and will have it next week, promise ;D.. the issue in Antartica was they couldn't find any Indian Stamps for so long

I'm sure I'm behind you.......but my ecas doesnt even say APP received yet.

I know we don't rely on it, but at times it gets us in the good mood to see some sort of update on it
