I disagree. I have neither Canadian work experience nor Canadian education and my CRS score is 481!
I bet you don't have a wife also (or spouse) to reduce your points :p

I think the scores will be back and forth between 420-450 throughout the year. And there are broadly two reasons for this:

1). Job offer points going down to 50 and for Managerial Level 200. This has been the biggest reason for low scores. Just see the trend from November 2016 onward.
2). Backlog prior to 2015 is more or less over. I again reiterate, that people getting scores between 400-450 isn't easy. Unless you have Canadian education or Canadian work exp, its extremely impossible to go above 450.

But again, CIC has failed all reasonings that we have ever made :p :p :p :p
what is the possibility of taking in refugees for this year, will it affect.
last year the ITA issued decreased around the time the refugees were taken.
is that already happening for 2017 or will it start all of a sudden. if so will be we see a drop of 500 ITA aprox on EE

Refugees have a different quota this year.

Last yr they said 50% will come from EE. In 2017 they said majority of them will come from EE means 80-85%. With your analysis 33,782 ITAs issued in 2016 and mind you in 6-7 months from april to october the ITAs were 750 because of refugees so take it into account as well.

So now with no refugees 30% increment in ITAs because of backlog decreased. and 6-7K increase in quota we can assume 50% increase of 33,782 so we can assume approx 50K ITAs this yr.

With so much ITAs come so much decline as lots of people make 2 profiles for husband and wife and decline ITA from 1 account and fake profiles were also set up so if we consider rejection at 20% of ITAs it means approx 60K ITAs will be issued.

Considering no more draws in march the current ITAs stand up to 24,652. It means around 35.5K remaining for 9 months. It means around 2000 ITAs on avg per draw which is still a good number to keep this below 450.
Well, the economic immigrants quota for 2017 is 71700 and PNP is 51000. I have removed 2000 from economic immigrants as Atlantic would be in the figure of 2000.

80% (majority) of 71700 is 57360. 30% of PNP is 15300. So total figure is 57360+15300=72660
From my opinion, you have considered 20% (rejection, decline and duplicate rate). However, this is quite conservative. In one of the videos of David Cohen, he says rejection rate is around 40%. Please also consider some profiles after ITA will have delayed police verification etc. I am considering it to be 30% - average. We have seen in last few draws, many people have declined the invite, as they were in the middle of updating the profile and they received the ITA (March 1 - which was a surprised draw). Then there are many applicants, who applied without spouse. But, after seeing the fall in the score they would like to add the family.

Considering 30% for the same is around 21000.

So total figure becomes 72660+21000= 94400. Lets consider 94000 as the total figure.

Let's put a ratio of 1:1.5 for ITA to family ratio. This is from the perspective that most of the candidates in 450+ are single applicants. Hence, the total ITA becomes 70500.

So for 2017, they need to offer 70500 ITAs. This is around 3000 ITAs per draw for the whole year. (12 months).

Guys i think that next two draws will give a picture of how crs would trend in the coming months..Although this draw saw a rise in crs but then it was almost after 3 weeks gap..We will be able to get a clear picture if next 2 draws happen timely

Buddy, we are talking generally here. Age is a big factor here too. My wife is the prime applicant, and that's why we are in the pool else, i would have been below 350.

I do actually mind it because you seem to be implying that my wife is a 'burden' who is not capable of getting a good IELTS score/education which will therefore bring my points down. Probably reflects your attitude towards women in general though, so can't blame you.

Good luck to you too in your application.
Whoa.. wait a minute. No need to get offended. I think Abby is simply pointing out that even if your wife scores in IELTS better than you and you are claiming her qualification points too, as a married applicant, your points are bound to drop. If a person has a spouse, he will have lesser points than a single candidate with a similar profile whether its the wife or husband bringing down the CRS score.
At least that's my understanding of the points calculation mechanism but I could be wrong.

I think you got Abby Alex's statement wrong. He did not mean to offend you. What he meant was that when you apply with your spouse, you tend to get lower scores as compared to an applicant who is single. If you look at the CRS table, the scores are different if you accompany your spouse. For example, the maximum score you can get for language is 136 for a single applicant whereas it is 128 for a person applying with a spouse.
