Hi,

Based on the info and guesses by all following may be the rule wef 26.06.10

1. There are 29 occupations from 26.06.10 and CIO will process only these occupations.
2. There will be a cap of 20,000 per occupation for all the CHCs around the world
3. FSW applications submitted/received by CIO before 26.06.10 will not be affected... means applications
recd till that date processing will be done for 38 occupations.
4. Cap of 20,000 is not applicable to existing FSW applications....

Please correct me if any of the above is wrong.... My only worry is that due to the new rule.... waiting period for existing applicants should not be more....

Hi, fellows~

I can't perfectly understand what the cap 20,000 means.. Is it really means that they willl set 20,000 cases limit for Federal skilled worker applicants , and after fill those numbers then holding it to next term? I think that there used to be more than 60,000 people get the visa as FSW every year, then what a decrease from 60,000 to 20,000?

From the trend as in previous months close to 70% of the applications fall into the ones that are removed.
IT , finance , Management and Teaching professionals have been completely taken off the list. Thats disappointing.

Its FEDERAL skilled workers not FAST! for heaven sake get it right! Seems that u cant even get this right, of course, Canada doesnt want u!

When the 20,000 quota is reached, the remaining will be backlogged to the following year and so on!

What is "what a recess from 60,000 to 20,000?"

Haha, Thank you for your kindness reply... abelkwh
(I may have to reconsider my immigration plan if Canada give the precious permanent visa to someone like you.)

I;m sorry that there are some mistakes because of the poor English....

The "60,000" is the approximate number of immigrants that Canada accept each year as a federal skilled workers. It was 76,964 Federal skilled workers admitteed in 2008. If they set 20,000 cap for federal skilled workers for a year, then the number will be "decreased", right?

HEY abelkwh~

That's good advice. You are 100% right.
But I don't want to cancel my application because of u , maybe I will have to study English very hard.
But you know what, you need to learn some manners that suit permanent residence of Canada.
I've been there and have lots of Canadian friends, but none of them ever told me like "canada doesn't want u" for any English mistake~!

ADVANTAGE AND DISADVANTAGE OF NEW DEMAND LIST

Dear friends,

Let's discuss what will be the advantage and disadvantage after coming new demand list.

Most of the people qualify under NOC related to account (NOC:0111/1111), teaching(NOC:4131/4121) and computer(NOC:0213). But all the related NOC are removed from Demand list.

No one can be applying in this NOC's in future.

Those candidate who was on waiting list and think to apply in next 3 months, this news was very disappoint them, they will not eligible to apply.

This news is good for those who has already applied in this NOC's. They will get the fast process by Immigration officer to remove back logs.

Immigration consultant/ agent/ canadavisa.com will not get more clients in future. It will affect on business of Immigration agents who deal with clients for Canada Permanent visa.

All new 29 occupation list NOC's are odd, visa office will not get many case for these NOC and they will be free. It will be difficult to find at least 1000 case on particular NOC's in the year.

Some NOC are very odd, welders, plumbers and crane operators can be found, but they are not educated and can not reach to 67 points.

• 0811 Primary Production Managers (Except Agriculture)
• 1233 Insurance Adjusters and Claims Examiners
• 2121 Biologists and Related Scientists
• 2151 Architects
• 3131 Pharmacists
• 4151 Psychologists
• 4152 Social Workers
• 6241 Chefs
• 7215 Contractors and Supervisors, Carpentry Trades
• 7216 Contractors and Supervisors, Mechanic Trades
• 7251 Plumbers
• 7265 Welders & Related Machine Operators
• 7312 Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanics
• 7371 Crane Operators
• 7372 Drillers & Blasters — Surface Mining, Quarrying &
Construction
• 8222 Supervisors, Oil and Gas Drilling and Service

Number of Agent who work to help to get Arrange Employment will increate, and AEO will the single option to qualify under FSW. Agent charge very high for AEO and It will increase cases of cheating in Immigration business.

Student visa will be the best option for those who want to settle in Canada legally. More people will divert to Student visa.

Look on the new Demand list listed below,

Does Canada really need professionals or General workers?

When I see the new Demand list and I shocked and I can not believe.

I have seen the same occupation list in advertisement for company of Gulf countries like Dubai, Saudi, Riyal, Kuwait, and Oman. These countries need workers in category like welder, plumber and crane operators. They pay more for category workers and less for general workers.

I can not understand the connection between Canada and Gulf countries.

So the 20,000 cap and 1,000 per NOC this is interesting .......

Is the 20,000 cap on all Canada visa offices around the world or per visa office. Well I think it is around the world for all visa offices. Why because the New Delhi visa office has only either about 8,000 or 10,000 FSW quota per year. So it has to be around the world for all visa offices. Besides small countries many of whom have less than 5,000 quota for FSW it makes no sense to have 20,000 FSW quota for them in case we assume that 20,000 is for each canada visa office.

Any views please visaexpert and others.
