bank statement, employer letter (proof of employment) are enough?

Hi Confuse Applicant,

You need Option C Printout and letter from your Current Employer. For more details refer to the Checklist Form "IMM5491E". You can download the Forms from the following link :

I talked to my lawyer today about his mistakes and sat with her for 3 hours. So there is no mistake in my application form.
Now i am sending my file to Mississauga office tommorrow.

Can you please tell me how long it takes to transfer the file to new delhi.
And I am satisfied here more than my lawyer's suggestions.

I am an Indian and got married to Canadian on 24th November'12 and came to Canada on visitors visa. We are going to apply for outland application while i will still stay here and get my visa extended till i get my PR.
DO you think that's a good idea?
My second question is about Police clearance certificate. I shifted in 2010 to this new place within same city. So the PCC that i got says that my record is good from 2010 till date.
Am i required to get PCC from my old place as well?

I am glad that you have done with your application. By the way how many CAN$ you have paid to your lawyer ?

Anyways at present moment all the new applicants are very lucky that CIC is approving the sponsorship in three weeks roughly.

Hi Ankur,

Regarding your PCC, you need not get it from your old residence. The PCC is always from your current residence so the PCC you have is sufficient but make sure that it should not be older than 3 months at the time of applying.

I think you must apply for inland if you want to stay in Canada while proccesing of your PR application. If you want to apply for outland and stay in Canada while the whole process, then your applicant can be refused. The Applicant must be present in his/her respective home country or country of residence incase of outland application. It is mandatory.

Hi, My file is with New Delhi for the past 3 months. Since yesterday I'm not able to access my account or my wife's account in CIC. Does this mean anything?

Last week my status changed to In process and my wife's passport is with New delhi consulate for the past 2 months

Any help on this would be great

@ Macadamia,

The e-cas is not working for many of the Applicants since Sunday. Most of the times CIC update their site on weekends. There are 99% chances that your wife will get DM within this week for sure.
