I use to check my ecas three to four times a day

yeah this month already gone now.......my BFD is June 1st 2013..lets see ............. ;D ;D ;D ;D

Finally after 10 months and 18 days of agony and pain of this long n uncertain wait I have my passport .... Thank u to the forum members , the wait would have been tougher without u guys ...

Congrats! Quick question for you: your timeline in the spreadsheet only indicates an address change on May 26, but no DM. Did you receive your passport before a DM on ecas?

Got reply from MP...

“Applicant has been deemed eligible, however a closer examination of the file raised some questions and a letter requesting further information was sent to applicant. Applicant’s response was received in March and sent to visa officer in May, and is currently under review. Once this review is achieved, a final decision regarding Eligibility will be made, and, if positive, Background checks will be started. Medicals have been taken and are on file"

Any idea how long it will take for Background Checks after eligibility - Applicant has No travel history...

hello m new to this forum
my parents have applied me in dependent child category on 12th october 2012
they had made the decision on 22nd november 2012
then very next day they had sent the application to ndvo
after that they had asked for passport,police clearence nd medical on march 2nd 2013
i had sent the passport on 6th march nd ndvo had received the passport on 7th march
m continouing my study
process if off 10 months
online status showing application received
may i know what will be next

Well I received letter from ND Embassy requesting to clarify why we tried to hide the information.They told us my wife got rejected for PR to Canada under Adoption Category in 1997 and we did not put down this information on this spouse appllication.We replied back in March with the details that its a mis match with applicant who applied in 1997 and my wife never applied for PR in 1997 and never got rejected...Hope this review will be done in coming days and they start the BackGround check ASAP....

My wife had an Interview on Monday and she passed and NVDo said to submit PCC along wiht passport ASAP but online status is same and no letter nothing we got so is it ok? what you think guys

my wife just sent her passport yesterday. arrived at the office today.

Finally received passport with visa....was issued may 16 but still shows in process!! Oh well at least we got the passport!!!!!
