    New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Passport received as well. Looks like they decided to send them all out in a batch. Those still waiting should receive theirs soon too. This forum is a wonderful resource, and thanks to the many generous individuals who are offering support and guidance. I hope all of those waiting get their...

It's mentioned here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t140961.0.html And then here: http://www.canadavisa.com/canada-immigration-discussion-board/-t149768.0.html Nobody is sure whether it applies to visa immigration offices or how the strike is or will be...

I hope there aren't issues with passport delivery now. Another user (LunarNymph) has also been waiting for about three weeks after DM. My wife got DM a few days ago (and address change a week ago), so I guess it's still too early to tell in our case. Things are really slow right now with NDVO...

Thanks. All of my info is in the spreadsheet (link below). When did yours change to DM? Maybe you can try getting the sponsor to call CIC in Mississauga, Canada. Be sure to tell them about your situation (ie. DM since ..., still haven't received any contact, etc., NDVO isn't helping, etc.)...

Congrats! No need to worry yet. Address change typically occurs days after the DM. When the "address change" takes place, you'll see two addresses: 1) the current one under "mailing address", and 2) a new one that will appear beside the mailing address as current "home address". I noticed you...

    NEW DELHI - 2013 APPLICANTS.

They are most likely keeping it on file until they begin processing it. For most people, NDVO requests their passport early on in the process, and the PPR date has no relevance to the date the decision is made. In a few cases, they've requested the passport when they're ready to process/stamp it.

Well, now it says Decision Made, so just waiting for the final step (passport with visa). I know it's most likely positive because of the address change, but am still holding out until we receive the passport in our hands. I would definitely try to contact them in any way you can (including by...

I have a feeling my wife's will be the same, as I have similar in process and address change dates as you. Oh well, the stamped passport is all that matters now.

Congrats! Quick question for you: your timeline in the spreadsheet only indicates an address change on May 26, but no DM. Did you receive your passport before a DM on ecas?

Your wife's passport must be ready to be stamped, and it looks like that's the case for my wife's file as well. We have very similar application dates and in process dates. I checked eCas today and they've now added the Canadian address to my wife's file. The file is still in process, but I'm...

I looked at your timeline and now I'm getting a bit worried since your file went in process in February. I thought those who had a long period between in process and decision made were for those who have an extensive travel history. I'm hoping to leave for India to meet and come back with my...

Received GCMS notes today (a full 30 days after application). The notes are dated the same day as I applied (April 23), so they're about a month old. As a result, it still says Eligibility, Security and Criminality have not been started. I know the Eligibility is complete now since the...

Small update: eCas shows that the application has begun processing as of May 14. Hoping for a quick change to DM because the file is simple (first marriage, arranged, no travel by wife (applicant), and I'm a Canadian citizen by birth).

As has been the case with some members, NDVO sends out a PPR, but the recipient doesn't receive it for a variety of reasons. This may be the case for you as well. If I was in your shoes, I would do an MP enquiry because your file is in process without a PPR. The other option is to apply for GCMS...

One possibility is that it is waiting for a bring forward date, and the pr is going to be issued when that date comes. That's just a guess, but whatever the case may be you should definitely tell your MP to send an enquiry to get things moving for two reasons: 1) It's been a year since you...

Is your timeline correct? Your sponsorship approval happened unusually quickly for an early December applicant.

Yeah, that was a really long wait for you. I had to look you up in the spreadsheet, and you applied in January 2012. Best of luck in the future.

Just found out some interesting information over at the trackitt.com forums. According to one of the members (who claims to work at CIC), CIC had reached its quota for family class sponsorships for the 2012-2013 fiscal year sometime in late March. For those who don't know, a fiscal year runs...

You should definitely inquire and find out why it was rejected. They wouldn't reject it and not give you a second chance at an interview to explain yourself unless they seriously felt it was an ingenuine relationship.

I'm in the same position and that's what I did, but I've already sent off my application. I guess I'll wait and see, unless someone has any other input on this.
