New Delhi - 2012 applicants

Hi,

How pain is this situation and why CIC Delhi does not provide proper information when we request through either mail or MP Enquiry. And why they are taking too long (atleast month )to response to our queries...

Recently I heard there is a way we can ask CIC to provide the detailed file status and requested for GCMS notes. After a month we got a GCMS notes and it says clearly that they already sent a mail asking Travel documents in the month of Oct, 2012 but they sent that mail to the wrong email address.

I have verified my all files (scanned copy which I sent to CIC) and it is clear that they made a mistake in email address (typo error) when asking for travel documents so I have not received that mail at all.

Could you please suggest what we can do at this situation?

Can I send my travel documents & inform about their mistake or do I need to raise complain and wait for travel documents request from NDVO again.


Please suggest.

Send a case specific query and if they dont respond within reasonable time, you can write a cover letter stating all your file details, the email address issue and send it along your passport.

Dear Friends,

I would like to share with you that a DECISION has been made for my PR. Thank you very much for all the support and information. It took exactly 6 months for my application to be processed. Praise the Lord

I had given my info of timeline in page 720 but I dont see them updated in the excel. Here my timelines again for updating in the sheet:

Guys I have just one suggestion for all of you. PLEASE DONT ENQUIRE THROUGH YOUR MP. IT WILL DEFINITELY SLOW YOUR PROCESS. I HAD NOTICED THIS IN THIS SITE IN THE PAST FEW MONTHS. IF IT TAKES MORE THAN 8 MONTHS THEN GO FOR THE MP. Otherwise please wait patiently and pray for peace. Your prayers will be answered.

Hey! Why does enquiring through MP slow down the process?

I dont know but thats what I had seen for the past few months. I even asked a few who got speedy visa whether they enquired and the response was positive. They have not enquired through MP.

CIC has very few employees and they have loads of application to be processed. If they need any docs they will approach you. And only within our Indian community I had heard about enquiry through MP.

Just imagine you working for CIC and being bugged by your MP. What is the sweetest revenge you can do to the applicant?...DELAY

If you dont get any response for 8 months, I suggest you to first send mail directly then go through MP if there is no response.

Sent a mail to question@cic.gc.ca with all details about your application. Be very specific. They will respond in 5 days. I had sent mail before and they had responded in 5 days.

Well if speedy visas didnt include MP enquiry it doesn't necessarily mean that the MP enquiry will delay. From other threads I have seen a couple of applicants from other countries also enquire thru MP. The problem is that NDVO is the only VO to keep passports for this long. 6 months for some people! It's ridiculous! It seriously puts a strain on the applicant's life. Worse still for those who may have to travel for work.

I have seen some other members get their application 'moving' after enquiring thru MP. One example is KP0789 who got his DM last month I think.

Also NDVO is one of the largest VOs in the world. Not too sure about whether there few officers working there. Unlikely. But I have no concrete evidence for either case.

Also our email enquiry was answered after about 2 months. My enquiry in December is still unanswered. Our MP has in fact advised us to get back in touch if we don't hear from NDVO.

But like you said, the officers are after all human. I trust them to act professionally. But I don't know any VOs personally. :'(

Anyway, congrats on your DM. Hope you get your PP quickly!

They have my passport from 6 months and they have never replied to my mails. A letter for documents was drafted on 26th October but it came us on 23rd December. Since then nothing.. Everything depends on the moods of NDVO. As they are only brainless people out there.
