I just recieve my medical instruction .
I got my AOR from CIC NS on 11th Oct 2013.
Medical exam next.

I sent an e-mail to MPNP to ask if LOA has been sent to my mailing address and I was told it was sent last October 7th. However, I haven't been able to receive it until now. =(

I'd like to ask your POV how I can proceed with this? Should I just wait or I can request for it to be sent to me again?

Wow, that has been a while. Was the address you provided them a Cebu address?

If that is, you can tell them to please send another copy to your sponsor this time. Tell them that you are worried that the letter might have been lost due to the Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda). It's not lying, it could possibly true because so many things were destroyed and misplaced ( even people). Give them your sponsor's address and tell them that you will just ask your sponsor to send you, your LOA via courier.

This is what I would have done. Maybe you should wait for other members to give their opinion about your situation.

In the meantime, since you have your LOA (congrats), start preparing your documents for CIC. ;D ;D ;D

hello tabs.. one more question .. my sponser friend lives in Winnipeg, and can i fill my destination any other city in MB than winnipeg like brandon or i must have to fill winnipeg as he lives in winnipeg ? if i can fill other city then question comes how can he help me settle if he lives in other city / community ? thanks.

I suggest you fill in your sponsor's city. At the moment, you aren't sure where you are exactly going. You will still have to find a job when you get there. As long as you stay in Manitoba, it's okay to change cities later.

Wait a bit for others responses.

I second this. You can ask for a duplicate once it has reached 8weeks maximum if still it doesnt arrive. The haiyan typhoon could be responsible to this or the earthquake before haiyan . Yes, I strongly suggest to mention this like tabs said. All the best. Congrats CebuGirl.

i agree with tabs, during my CIIP seminar, they told us that Winnipeg is the most popular destination in Manitoba, probably because it is the capital of Manitoba. but they are also telling us that aside from Winnipeg, there are also good places to stay lilke brandon ,churchil, morden etc. as long as you stay within Manitoba, it is okay.
