You do not have to include your husbands picture, he will be the one who will stick his own picture on the application kit that he will be receiving months after you submitted you application for PR.
Yes, you are going to get a Police Clearance here, there's a page on the Application Kit which is
for Police Clearance,you are going to go there and do the finger prints& etc.

I agree with you I miss my husband so much. when the processing for the step one was 6-7 months I was so happy but when it changed to 10-11 months I was like my heart broken anyway we're the person who live far away from must be strong and the dream will become true.

Hello, I have a question about documents to apply PR. I'm a married live in caregiver and my spouse isn't in Canada. Do I have to include his 2 photos and a Birth certificate in the same time with me? As I understand that we don't have to include those documents in the same time if they're not in Canada, is that right? but some people tell me I have to!

One more, Do I need to provide a Canadian police clearance?

I'm glad as you keep this forum in English.

In my case I did not submit a Canadian Police Clearance coz I submitted my NBI. And if you worked in other countries, you will be required to get a police clearance from there too. When you get your application kit for PR, you can check the checklists and the guide.

@kitt1517- yup as per my case i submitted canadian police clearance you can have it from the local police station ! i know i hope that the 6-7 mos processing will be back iam being so frustrated because everytime especially when it is christmas it is so hard for me! god bless

The update as at Dec 29th is processed up to Jan 22 . I was thinking they will be going on holiday but thank God they are moving gradually. I hope it wont jump to 11-12 months for processing next week.

Hello There, I just wonder how do you know CIC already sent the file to your family to your country because I have almost the same timeline but either my family didn't receive any and I called CIC and they don't know exactly if the file was sent.... Did your family already receive the file??? Please let me know. Thanks, Argy

@ARGY - when I called CIC once, the agent was friendly enough to check my file & was able to see that the application for my dependents was already sent to CEM but up to now, they haven't rcvd the LC2 KIT yet, praying & hoping that it will arrive soon, so the ball can start rolling

And finally today the update goes up again to 12months for AIP . This is totally ridiculous, what exactly is happening with CIC ,seem like it gonna get to 2 years for just AIP .

This is just awful!!!!! We have to do something. Being mute doesn't help at all. I know one Cuban guy whose immigration papers were lost in some dead end and the immigration service didn't bother much to hurry up and even answer properly what the hold up was. So, he called his local MP. He didn't even talk to him, but to his secretary. He explained the problem and they helped! His case started moving fast. His family is coming here pretty soon. Girls, contact your local MPs and complain about the CIC being so slow. We are in all different regions of Canada. If these MPs hear about us and send some questions to the CIC, they will have to get down to work and hurry up. You can find the information and and all the contacts of your local MPs on the Internet. Look for Canadian federal electoral districts. Just make a phone call and tell them! There are toll-free numbers. Get up, girls! Don't let them make us slaves!
