I know that too. We can only apply for their OWP if we are under the NOC A O B. Either you are a Doctor, Manager or a Supervisor.. With regards to visitor visa..it is also a 50/50 chances approval. I guess it all depends on the VO who will handle the application.

It is better if you have an employer if you take your vacation. Coz immigration might not let you come back if you don't have any employer. Especially if you don't have an open work permit. ;(

Yes, I think it's only for those applying under M-1/M-2 or let us say, prof/skilled workers and not under the LCP or Family Sponsorship. When I read the article it didn't say anything about the LCP's. We have a different category and I hope they will still process our applications fairly.
