That's a good question. That statement isn't very specific, is it?

Does it mean the new spousal cases are being transfered to somewhere else??!!

I heard that during Iraq war they closed embassy and the files stayed there. On that time, year 2003 I think ,one of our friends get her visa in 13 months.It was so long period that time. I am very worried! God don't forget us

Oh my God! What if they close the embassy and our files stay there until................God knows>?!

The files that have been in process i Think are in good standing, however the files that just arrived there like mine ( 2 weeks ago) is probably going to suffer...unless they have a miracle and issue the visa right away lol....just trying to stay positive

What do you guys think will happen now?? I have to update the embassy with some extra information as my hubby moved out of Leb for a job offer, should I do that now? or wait???

yeeeeeees it looks like that from others' experience so guys, ladies, relax and try to stay positive!!!!! and don't listen to rumors!!! i raised this question a few months ago and here is what other members shared:

kamal i selled my car 7 months ago back then i thought the visa was gonna be issued...i have made evthg ready for that day (paper from college, university...)
i'm leaving lebanon on thursday 22 (7 daysfrom now) going to syria on monday they'll give it to me on the same day (the lady gave me an appoitment)
i still have 6 days to arrange my sutfffff ahhhhh!!:||||||||||
