Applying at 1100 days, is it risky ???

I know the law says 1095 days, but is it advisable to apply at 1100 days or give more buffer days.

No fix answer for buffer, but it depends how you calculated your days, how many time you travel abroad ectc.

To me to be on safe side: Give at least one week + 3 x times you travel abroad. so if you travelled 10 times, give yourself 37 days (just a suggestion).

Again its upto you.

I believe that when someone hits the 1095 mark in physical days, the risk factor vanishes. Since in reality RQ is arbitrarily issued and does not depend on whether the number of days is 1095 or 1300.
I would apply if I was you. It's all up to you.

I applied at 1097 days. my friend applied at more than 1200 days and he still got RQ.. So i don't think it matters.

In addition to that, My friend only travel out of country once in the past four years and he don't have US visa. I think CIC is using RQ as an strategy to help them get some time to deal with the backlog they already had...

We heard about someone here who was given 1094 days even through the citizenship calculator said 1095 so in case you were wrong about a date, you should give a few days extra just in case.

No - your PR status is not revoked. You can wait for a few more years as a PR and then apply for citizenship again.

I will apply at 1100 days not because i want buffer days but i am a bit supertitious.
I travelled 2 times and I know well my dates.

I think of it in this way... why cut close... processing time for 80% cases is 25 months without RQ. That's about 750 days! wow!! applying for citizenship at 1095 days or even 1150 days... just 55 days apart which is about 7% time delayed wrt total standard processing time. why bother? just apply when you feel comfortable it's kinda already messy anyway.

Short answer shouldn't be an issue just re-apply...long answer- depends on refusal reason e.g. if there is fraud then this becomes a criminal issue...if this goes the distance then its possibly adios to your PR!
