My application reached at nsoi on 18th March . Till now no response . Whenever i inquired on phone to nsoi , always same reply that they will inform by mail when application will be processed .Also they are telling that 50 candidates are nominated till now since last 10 days . Anybody applied on 18th march got any response from nsoi ?

I see you're new here. The benefit of this forum is that other applicants that applied like you provide information with regards to correspondence from NSOI. From the spreadsheet data on this forum. No one that applied after March 15th has received any news from NSOI. The last people that received the pre-screen email were people that had their application received March 14th. They are 4 days away from your application received date of March 18th. A little more patience is required (I know it's hard)

Just want to clarify that NSOI won't receive any application on the 15th and 16th of March because its a weekend. So the next date of applications received after March 14 would be March 17. Therefore, if you do the math, an applicant who had his application received last March 18 is just 2 days away from the ones who received a pre-screening e-mail the latest.

Yes, you are correct, but...
each day takes quite a long time to proceed our applications.

So far there is a approximal tendency like each day is equal to 2 weeks for processing.

Yes sir I agree. That is why even I who had my application received on the 17th is quite worried whether I could still make the cut. Though I asked the lady from NSOI who answers the phone on her opinion, she said that it is not a guarantee but she thinks that I could still make it to the 100 nominations remaining. I bugged her so much just to have her spill those words because it is understandable that they don't want to give false hopes to applicants.

What makes me feel more worried though is the statement they have in the website that they hope to have all nominations given away by summer which could mean that by early September they're done giving out all the nominations. With the pace they are working on right now, it kind of feels like they have enough number of applicants to choose from on the applications received from March 6,7,10,11,12,13,14 (just seven days) that is why they are just taking their time. -just my opinion and observation.

Regarding to the last 3 digits of the Nomination code I have made such suggestion to Admins some time ago, they did it, but most of the nominees did not wish to share such information, and Admins removed that column. Even now many nominees avoid to share that information thinking that it is confidential
