    Extended stay visa and re-entry

I think you're right about this. You will probably be given a Visitor Record again at the airport in Feb. with a limited time of stay. I don't think you will be denied entry.

Visitor's Passport stamp vs 'sheet of paper'

They require 2 pieces of ID to apply for a driver's license here (in B.C. at least) and now they're very strict with it. You cannot just show the entry stamp on your passport to get a driver's license but you need to prove your status in Canada with a legal document, i.e. landing paper, PR card...

    Confused about extension application

Ya I tried it but there were only 2 things requested at the time I applied online. One attachment was for passport pages and the other was for bank statement. I didn't know if, and where, I should attach those other forms that I think that should be there. Well I phoned CIC yesterday and they...

Hi have you sent out your application online? I did the same for my husband for an extension but where to attach those additional forms i.e. copy of my PR or marriage certificate...? It wasn't asked for on the online form and the attachment size was limited to 2MB only I think... What if I want...

    remarrying/sponsor my former husband

Ok million thanks for the info!! In case he's denied an extension, we might just go to the U.S. and come back. I suppose that should work for another 6 months - I mean if we have submitted his application for landing through outland by then.

    remarrying/sponsor my former husband

Thanks for your replies! We separated in early 2006 and the divorce became final 6 months after the separation. I applied in early 2007 as a skilled worker. Thinking back, my points for independent immigration would be enough for both of us if we were still happily married at that time. :(

    remarrying/sponsor my former husband

Hi, thanks for your reply. We have thrown away a lot things in the past months which could be used as "evidence"... In the middle of gathering those from family and friends now. We applied for his extension saying that we're now remarried and in the middle of preparing for his application...
