Such a relief....phew. Would you still meet your 7days deadline? I suggest you send fbi an email about status of application and let them respond saying it is being processed and dispatch date. Then attach with an loe stating you are awaiting delivery to the placeholder a day before expiration...

On my side this is my timeline so far: Delivered to fbi- july 19 Opened and processed by fbi- October 19 Sent by mail- October 23 Received fbi report - still waiting (Houston address) Because of fear of anything happening to this application or prints rejected, i sent in a 2nd (backup)...

Firstly so sorry about this. I can only imagine how frustrating this is for you. As someone said once your cumulative timevin a country is more than 6mths in the last 10yrs u hve to produce one. I would recommend sending an loe with the attached email from fbi to them and see what they say...

Nope....you have to call or email customer care to get details of when it will mail out.

So I called...application received on 19th july. They finally opening july 19th today. My prints where accepted and results will be mailed to Houston on 23rd...

There is no defined format. Just state that you have applied for it on (date). Indicate documents attached (courier delivery slip or scanned copy of the application you made. When they review your application they will give you a date usually 60days deadline to submit and an open placeholder.
