same situation. started processing in march. as per gcms notes in september, found the social assitance check is being performed and only god knows how long it will take. i dont expect anything until 2017.

I have similar situation. my gcms notes says the same thing as yours. still waiting for first stage approval...not sure what to do now. MP didnt help either. I am going to apply for another gcms notes.

we still havent received sponsorhip approval. last week we called cic and they told me that they will send a note to CPC requesting for an updates and we are told to wait another 4 to 6 week before we contact them again. not sure what is going on. my parents are here on supervisa since 2015 so...
