Applications filed through NS --> Buffalo (Filed from USA)

I went to check April/May 09 apps at trackitt.com and learned that the majority of them haven't received medical request, They are just stuck in Buffalo. No movement. You should feel very lucky if your files were transferred out of Buffalo.

They are just handpicking some apps they like and process them way faster than the normal timeline. That's all. NS CIO IA enabled them to do so.

Yeah you can save the $75 app fee for a visitor's visa.

New Delhi tends to do that. Pretty soon you'll be done.

It looks like so few people do that, probably so because the majority of people here are from India and Pakistan and other South Asian countries.

Applications filed through NS --> Buffalo (Filed from USA)

NS CIO IA is still a mystery. It doesn't seem to benefit both CIO and applicants--applicants make mistakes on app because they don't have supporting docs--but it enabled visa offices to handpick some apps and process them faster than the normal timeline.

Have any of you tried #2: leave & re-enter Canada instead of applying for a visitor's visa in Canada? I'm from a visa-exempt country and considering leaving and rerentering at the Buffalo port of entry. My study permit expires soon.

Can you please post the letter so that I can analyze it and help other people with it?

    Request for RPRF Payment

There are some people with only doc requests and like you with only interview waived. I don't know why Detroit works like that. When was it? Today? Would you mind posting the entire email message so that I can analyze it?

pro 1, don't worry. I know a guy who wasn't requested for any docs on the day his status changed to In Process but got a medical by mail a couple of weeks later, which I thought strange, because it was sent by mail--normally it's first sent by email and then you get the medical forms by mail.

That's quite common. Just doc request and no medical request, right? Would you mind posting the entire email request?

rejection after status change to In Process?

I personally responded to her case (Bristirdine at trackitt.com). She wasn't even given a chance to prove her relationship to her uncle--no additional doc request. She was rejected during In Process. As Qorax insinuated, there was more to her story, which she wasn't willing to share with us at...

rejection after status change to In Process?

There are many scenarios for rejection. You can be rejected during Visa Office IA as you can see in a case posted at trackitt.com last night--at the time of his rejection his status was Visa Office Eligibility Review Complete, so it was before moving into In Process. There was another guy who...

rejection after status change to In Process?

We know why NS CIO IA doesn't mean anything. It's because all VO has in front of him is an application form, that is, what we claim on the app. No supporting docs. But Visa Office IA looks at both and determines whether our claim makes sense. Only if it does, a case moves into "In Process". So...

rejection after status change to In Process?

Now we all know NS CIO IA doesn't mean anything, but Visa Office IA means something, that is, it means VO sees 67 or more, at least on paper, even though VO might have some questions. Below is their explanation of the two different steps: Visa Office - Eligibility Review Complete The review of...

rejection after status change to In Process?

There are many rejections after transfers to other visa offices, and I suspect some were rejected during IA and before In Process. Other cases' status hasn't changed for 90 days--Pending Review--and I don't know what happened to them, because they just tend to disappear after getting rejected...

rejection after status change to In Process?

I agree, but if a visa office completes IA and requests for more docs, it means an app has 67 or more, at least on paper. So visa officers do further processing--request for more docs--when they have questions, or request ME if everything looks all right. But if it's obvious an app has below 67...

rejection after status change to In Process?

I think the first two are checked during the visa office IA, which can take up to 90 days.

rejection after status change to In Process?

Hi guys, I've seen some cases rejected after their status changed to In Process, which means they have passed the visa office IA. Do you know why some cases are rejected after In Process, not before that. I'm just curious.

Yes Yes Yes, Viva Buffalo ! online status is "In Process" AOR - October, 21 2009

Re: Yes Yes Yes, Viva Buffalo online status is "In Process" AOR - October, 21 2009 Congrats. I think you passed the visa office eligibility review. They often email medical request right away when they start processing but sometimes they take more time. Do you happen to know why?
