Did you apply for citizenship after changing of citizenship requirement last November?

With new citizenship rule started last November, it should not be a problem because one must not prove the intention of staying in Canada. However I think they will be more strict about green card holders.

Hi, Two month ago I got ATIP notes which says that all my background checks are passed. I also sent a document to them 6th of October and they said that it will take up to 4 month to verify it!! Today our local MP came with the news that my background is still in process! and needs a case...

They asked for Military Records. From email: "Please provide your service book, or your exemption certificate." I am non-visa exempt and that would be the reason. Although this was not in the requirement list at the first place.

But they asked you after two months your file transferred to London. Mine has been there for 9 months and waiting for another four months is ridiculous. Is there anyone that had been in the same situation as me and his application processed shortly after submiting the extra documents?
