Thanks everyone!! What a relief! :D It seems that if you're file is re-opened in Ottawa, that it takes about 3 months time after they send out the request for updated IMM, Medical and Police check. Good luck everyone! I hope you don't have to wait much longer!! :)

Good news everyone...we finally got the passport request, which means this long miserable road is finally almost coming to a close!!! ;D ;D ;D We got an email today from CIC Ottawa to send the passport via VFS to Can Delhi HC and it is exactly 2 years to the day since we initially applied!!! :D

You'll soon receive a letter confirming that you won the appeal. The file will either be sent back to your visa office or Ottawa. I think they send cases that are less likely to have any problems for the background checks and medical to Ottawa for completion. Just to give you an idea...we won...

We won won our Adr at the end of November and they requested more documents such as a medical and police check at the end of Jan. Our ecas was up and running for the applicant about a week after the request came through. It now says in process and they also updated it saying medical received...

That processing time sounds like it's for new applications...appeal cases that are won become priority, so it shouldn't be bound to the regular processing times, well, I would think!

Our file was re-opened last week and now is being processed in Ottawa and they have requested new PCCs, medical and a few updated forms. Our E-cas also says "In Process". ;D

Thanks Tunisianbride. We contacted my MP's office and apparently that staff member called theIAD already and CBSA and CIC. She said our file is waiting in a vaulted room to be opened...I think I'll contact them again after a few more weeks if nothing happens...Hopefully it doesn't take too long...
