Hmm.. I would suggest moving during Summer / Fall term - when the weather is a bit warmer. Feb / March of this year were still snowing (and not sure about next year) and make it a bit harder to move - but that's just my thought...

    Moving to Alberta

I am keeping my car since it's on the list of the admissible cars - and you don't have to incur additional time / browsing for cars there especially if your is still in good condition. About odometer / speedometer, my car has both in it and I believe the only thing my car doesn't have is the...

Mumbai + cchabert: Basically all articles are on line. You just need to get the recall clearance from the dealer, ensure your car is clear from all recalls, and check the list of vehicle admissible.. and check where you plan to cross - and contact that office 72 hours before arriving and...

The PR definitely has expiration date - 1 year from medical result submitted. And PR effective is when you landed at the border. And you have to stay at least 700+ days (about 3 years) out of 5 years to be eligible for Citizenship.

    Landing and card...

Interesting.. I, too, plan to exit at North Dakota since it's closer than one in Montana. But, eventually I'll drive to Calgary from North Dakota. I read somewhere in the forum that it's okay to exit at the border anywhere and arrive in Alberta later on. As long as you do the landing in...
