My wife got her passport back in the mail with the TRV, and they gave her a 5 year TRV. is that normal? Should she have a return ticket when she arrives, considering she has a 5 year stamp?

Congratulations on the PPR!!! You got the big one. That is unbelievable that they wouldn’t grant a TRV earlier for you even though you were all but guaranteed a PR.

I think yours is a good sign because of the delay since eligibility has been completed. A lot of the rejections I’ve seen happen one or two days after eligibility was completed. It’s been over a week now for you. It think that’s a positive sign. All the best! Hoping the best for you

The Passport request letter just came in. So TRV is completed. The entire process took 2 and half months with PA in India.

Today I had another update for TRV. Biometrics came in and the account was updated with the TRV number and expiration date… so looks like it will get approved just waiting for the PPR at this point. but I’ve seen cases where it takes months to get the PPR so let’s see what happens

Don’t lose hope, I had a ghost update before as well. Actually one week before I got the ghost update. Then it moved forward only today.

I think my wife’s TRV might be getting approved. They updated her documents section with a visa number and expiry date. not sure when they’ll provide an approval or rejection letter though. Hoping for the best…

I got an update for the TRV application. Eligibility went from not started to complete on September 4. exactly two months from my submission date. I’ll update here if there’s any results. Im not too confident in the result, but we’ll see…

No on my side we’re still waiting. applied on July 4. Only background check is still in progress. Regarding the PR application,we passed medical, biometrics, background and eligibility. Also received the pre-arrival letter. hoping that the TRV can help reunite us faster but I have my doubts...
