Hi all,I am new to this forum.

I have received ITA on 11th July and submitted my profile on 08th Sep. I had received nomination from Ontario due to which I got 600 points and hence the ITA.

My question is how long will it take to get the visa? On the CIC website it says max of 6 months; but has anyone got it before that?

If there is a whatsapp group; please add me to it - my number is +971 50 5758 308
Each PR application is unique and hence is processed differently depending on many factors such as stream, travel history, country of origin, number of applicants, and so on.

While CIC gives 6 months as average processing time and tries to process most applications within this timeline, some applications take longer. For example, while some January PNP applicants are still waiting for their PPRs, August FSWs have already sent their passports for stamping.

The only thing all of us can do now is to wait patiently and let the application process take its own time. Our PPRs will be here sooner or later.

Good luck.

hi guys
Seems like we need Schedule 4 and maybe also schedule A in our eAPR documents . which seems better submitted upfront !
did you guys :
1- printed the doc
2- hand wrote on it
3- scanned the doc
4- finally merged it with the LOE for the upload ?!?
cos these pdf files look so weird to me ( e-signed or donnowhat ... )
how did you guys manage to submit schedule 4 or Schedule A UPFRONT ???

You only need schedule A if you answered "YES" to one of the statutory question, however schedule 4 might be asked in the future if you are a PNP applicant. Hence it is better to upload schedule 4 along with your nomination certificate.

@eyts , where does it state that you need to upload schedule A if answer is "YES" to one of the statutory questions? The document checklist didn't ask for it. tia

there was a discussion on travel history and providing table of travel dates will make CIC job easier and faster. then my friend got a request to fill this form for travel history although he provided these info during eAPR :
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5562E.pdf

i think CIC dont want to spend time doing labor job extracting the information and filling the form so they send it back to the applicant to do.

did any of you guys submitted this form in advance in eAPR ?
Not all applicants get this ADR of travel history, It is not advised to fill it upfront and send with your eAPR as you are already filling this information in travel history tabs.

Print out the schedule 4, either fill it in pdf editor or by hand and sign it. Then scan it along with your Nomination certificate and merge with your LOE. For schedule A, You only need it if your answered yes for any statutory question.

Yes document checklist will not ask for it, it is not mandatory to send it upfront. Its up to you to send it upfront or wait for ADR after you submit your application.

Thanks, I am doing great and hope same for you.

I have already taken this issue with IRCC in the past where my friend was facing the same issue. There is only one solution to it and that is to stop processing of application until he is married. The reason is IRCC told us that once a primary applicant is issued a Permanent Residence status before a spouse or children medicals are done and application is received, then from that point they cannot be sponsored by the primary applicant. This means they will be either sponsored by PR holder staying in Canada and fulfilling other requirements or else spouse will have to apply separately as a primary applicant.

Now he has only left with one option and that is to raise CSE and defer his PR until he is married. Then, provide spouse medicals, PCC, and other required documents and ask IRCC to process their applications as well. In this case, eligibility tests, medical, and other admissibility tests will be carried out again.

Now he has to decide what suits him best.

I hope this will help.

Cheers!
Hello @BillHyatt , hope you are doing fantastic!!

I have one query for one of my friend who has already submitted his visa for stamping.

My friend will be receiving his stamped passport soon may be this week. He is getting married on the 30th October this year and willing to add his spouse. What is the best way to do this? He has sent his passport to Abu Dhabi Canada Visa office. Could you please let me know what is the best and fastest step wise procedure to add spouse.

If anyone else can also throw some light on this then i'll be thankful. @anwar01 anything??
i asked my friend who had done extensive research on this as he is going through the same, conclusion is, even after PPR and visa stamping you will get COPR only not PR..you will have to fill some forms and submit PCC, Medical test, and pay the fees and return both passports...

all i brought is heresay, but he confirmed there's thread on this form only discussing this so you better search for it.

hi friends , silly me

in the eAPR personal history :
Have you listed all of xxxxxx's periods of military service or government positions (if any), and all of the organizations that xxxxxx belongs to (if any)?

I have no military service , nor government position , but am part of an association (NGO) since 2013 , should I mention it ?
1- if I mention it : I would answer YES
2- If I mention none : I would answer : NOT APPLICABLE

am confused :(

Hi, all! I am working on the personal activities in the post-ITA application and I noticed that the time period consists of year and month only. In case I have several days gaps between some activities, they will not be listed. Is this correct?

I sent to wes three degrees for evaluation and the three of them are mentioned in the education section and can be seen on the report from wes.
All of the educational activities have been started outside the ten year period, but only two of them have been completed in the last ten years. Shall I add all the education activities in the personal activities or just the education activities that have been completed in the last ten years?

@anwar01 how are you man?

Busy with document submission?? I have one query although I know the answer just need to confirm. I have got my new passport just couple of days back. So I have to inform the OINP guys. Right? Could you share with me the mail ID on which I've to send them the new passport details. Also my spouse is the primary applicant. So i'll just send them the bio page of the passport. Kindly confirm. All the best for your application. I'll join the boat ride tonight probably.
