If your job is LMIA exempt and qualify for work permit process in 2 weeks under GSS, I suggest you submit your complete application including upfront medical and police certificates.

Recently one of the forum member recieved work permit decision within 2-3 weeks after submission of complete application.
Thank you for your reply! but my job is LMIA approved and its not GSS, its normal/standard LMIA based job. GSS or GTS is not mentioned on LMIA letter.

my upfront medical on 20th July, i will apply once medical is done. i think this is right direction.

Guys, so happy to inform you that I’ve received the PPR just now.
My timeline,

Upfront medicals done: 11 Feb
Application date: 1 June
Biometrics given: 7 July
PPR: 21 July

Visa category: ICT+GSS+LMIA Exempted
It took exactly 2 weeks from the time of giving biometrics..

Don’t have any extra info than this..profile handled by company attorney’s...

All the best to the group..

Hi All,

While applying for work permit online do i need to print the filled forms sign them and scan the signed forms and upload? or can fill directly on laptop and upload without signatures? forms like Imm1295e, 1294e, imm5645e

Early response will be highly appreciated.

Regards,
