In similar situation, if my wife took admission in Masters and based on that can I get open work permit and continue my job on open work permit(after 5 years on LMIA exempt close work permit)

I am currently on Intra Company Transfer, LMAI exempt closed work permit, as per policy we can stay on it for 5 years only. Completing 5 years in Dec 26. Due to age factor CRA score are less so not getting invite for any PR pathway., if my wife took admission in Masters and based on that can I get open work permit and continue my job on open work permit(after 5 years on LMIA exempt close work permit) ? or any other alternative way to continue stay and work after 5 years?
It is possible. What program with her 4 year degree? She would need to show the cash in the bank for both of you for living expenses plus tuition. She needs to justify the costs showing career progression and higher pay once she returns home. if she has been in Canada with you then you will both need to show ties to return home.
She has Doctorate (PhD) from back home in Computer Science. Currently she is on Open Work Permit here but not working . She can take admission in any 2 year Master Program in any University. Can I get open work permit as her dependent and continue my job even after completing 5 yrs on LMIA exempt Work permit ??
If she has a PhD then there is no sense to take a Masters. Expect refusal because it makes no sense. She is not expanding on her education nor how can she show better job opportunities when she returns home. You can apply for a SOWP. Whether her study permit is approved is not known. If refused then you are not eligible. Because she is in Canada she needs to justify costs and when applying show ties to return. To IRCC this is a blatant attempt not to leave when she has had years to apply for a study eprmit
She has PhD in computer Science, But I think still she can do Master's in some Business programs and can show better job opportunities when she returns back for Managerial roles. To show ties back home we can show property and investments there. I know its very difficult but this is the only option we have so want to try that with any possibilities.
