I applied for an extension of my study permit, it's been more than 2 months, but my study permit has just expired. Do I have the right to work as a student while waiting for the renewal of my study permit?

Yes you do under maintained status as per the same conditions of your study permit

Are you currently studying full-time? If you continue studying full-time you can also work. If you are not studying and it is not a scheduled break for your program you can’t work.
