Wire transfer to India from Canada using RBC

Hello All,

Anybody has any experience transferring money to India using RBC Bank International Money Transfer Service?

They charge 13.5 CAD flat fees for any transfer. But I have couple of questions.

1. What are the charges the intermediate banks usually charge?
2. Are the banks in India charge for inward remittance?
3. I am transferring to my own account in India, do I need to show them any income proof?
