Hi Alexy, did you get your test invite both by mail and email, or just by postal mail? Now I'm worried because the postal service in our neighbourhood to be a bit iffy I am also in Winnipeg.

I saw the ecas update for the test prior to getting the invite by mail. Didn't receive any email.

Hello all...I am from Winnipeg applied for citizenship in Oct 2017...received Aor in Jan 2018...since then application sitting in app received status...please share your exp...is it normal...when to expect in process, test invitation etc..

I think many people are in the same situation. I don't know if you've seen the tracker, but the amount of applicants grew tenfold in October, so I imagine anyone who applied in October, November and maybe even December will have a few extra months of delay compared to those who applied in September or earlier.

They received my app Oct 20, got AOR Nov 29 and IP Jan 11. Still waiting and waiting

Wait for a full month after AOR to get IN-PROCESS and then Another month to get Interview.

i m from winnipeg too.
my application received on 20th oct and i received AOR yesterday 12th feb... So as per ur processing time i hv to wait for one or two month for In process status. i hope they will speed up for all files ...

Yes, I think each stage will take an extra month or so for all of us who applied or on after October. I would estimate that you will wait about a month or a month and a week to IP, and then about two to three months to get the exam invite.

tht means winnipeg office are going slow on citizenship file process ..
