Hi friends- Can I ask you regarding required income for parents sponsorship.

My question is whether or not Income withdrawn from RRSPs in a certain year included in total income calculations for that year? did someone have such experience? Please advise.

Thanks in advance
RRSP will not be counted as the income in the year when you withdraw. It has been counted already when the income was generated. The money in RRSP is considered as tax delay which means tax would be generated when you withdraw.
If you check your NOA, you will find that year's income is not less because you contributed to the RRSP. Just the taxable portion was less.
If you want to increase your income, you have to find another way to do it.

So my question remains the same that, why did I get UCI # for my file and then they returned as there was "amount" missing in Fee Payment form
UCI is the number on your immigration landing paper. It has nothing to do with your parents' application for immigrant.
You didn't get that UCI # this time. You have this number on yoru letter this time, it only means that you are in the system.

Coca- I have a question. I am having my wife landing in canada as a new PR. I am Canadian and have a good job and can show income 5-6 years 80K.

My parents do not want to come to Canada.
Can my wife who is a new landed immigrant with no income- apply to sponsor her parents- and I co-sign the application?

Will this work- anyone please advise.

Thank you

Of course you can. If your wife has been here long enough to have NOA's last 3 years. Her no-income plus your income shall do. But not without NOA.

Yes. If your wife wants to sponsor her parents with you as co-signer when the program opens in January 2015, then since your wife doesn't have any income you as co-signer will need to provide your CRA NOAs from years 2011, 2012 and 2013, that all meet the parents LICO amount based on family size.

Note that you will be financially responsible for her parents for 20 years after they arrive as PRs.

I think if his wife doesn't have 3 previous NOA, she might not be qualified to sponsor anyone. She might be under sponsored herself.

As long as co-signer meets income requirements that's all that matters.

Hello Guys,
I applied for my parents and I received the email in June saying that the process was been accepted.
Now I want to apply for my girlfriend.
I wonder if applying for parents and conjugal partner sponsorship in almost the same time could create a problem.

thank you

No problem sponsoring your partner provided you still meet LICO after adding one person to your family size. Hopefully you've read up on conjugal and know you should only pursue this sponsorship option if it is impossible for you to get married or become common law.

Hello everyone... I need help in calculating my income to meet LICO for sponsoring my parents..

So here is the situation...

Year 2011 - July - landed immigrant (Single) - income was for only 5 months so does not meet LICO.
Year 2012 - Meet LICO as single
Year 2013 - Meet LICO again was single
Year 2014 - Got married and sponsored wife..

so now my situation is I have already sponsored my wife so family size is 2 plus I want to sponsor my mom in Jan 2015 so we will be family size of 3.

My question here is will CIC consider me family size as 1 for previous 2 years (2012 & 2013) or they will check my LICO on the basis of what family size I have right now which is 3 and checks my LICO for last 3 years?

Bcoz I'm meeting LICO for 2012 & 2013 as a single and will work extra to make sure I meet LICO for family size 3 for 2014 and can apply for my mom.

Please reply as I'm confused if I can apply or not.
