What does it means "DECISION MADE" in my Permanent Residence Application Status

Hi Everyone!

I was wondering if anyone has experienced this similar change in ECAS. As I checked my account today, I noticed that there was a change in my status. It now reads "Decision Made" but as I clicked on the link, it has not updated any information. It still reads, Medical recieved but no word on if a background check was done or medical passed.

Hopefully there is something positive from this. Just hoping someone has some insight on this situation!

Mine also looks like yours at the moment except for when they sent me correspondence about needing additional documentation. But yes, my latest update was "We are processing your application" before I got Decision Made.

I did. It was only two days after I had the new processing line in ECAS. I don't think they update it accurately, it seems like the times for DM are all over the place.

Hello Everyone. My CAS changed from In Process to DM on March 29, 2019, and the details are as follows:

1. We received your application for permanent residence on November 20, 2018.
2. We started processing your application on March 29, 2019.
3. We sent you medical instructions on February 19, 2019. To avoid delays, please provide us the information requested in the letter as soon as possible. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
4. Medical results have been received.
5. We sent you correspondence on March 18, 2019. If you have not yet provided the information or the requested documents, please do so as soon as possible. Please wait until you receive the correspondence before sending us additional information, as the correspondence will outline all information that is required. (This was in regards to proof of communication. I had shared the same with them on March 19, 2019.)

What should i make of this? Does this mean that a decision has been made and I should be either getting confirmation or rejection letter? Also how long does it take to get a communication from them once the status changes to Decision Made? (I know the last question varies from case to case basis)

My GCkey has been on processing since I linked my application. I check everyday but no change and at this point i'm convinced maybe i'm looking in the wrong place lol

Yeah, I have DM on both sides and it still says it's in process on GCKey. I don't think they typically update it until you have COPR.

Have you received PPR? I have Decision made over week just similar as yours no update GCKey and no correspondence regarding the decision in Ecas.

For my application, nothing was updated after “medical results have been received”. However, being curious I checked my ECAS after a month of landing here and one line was added after that with the date I made the entry and the name of port of entry.

And outside it showed “complete” status under my PR application status. I hope this helps.

Timeline is as follows:

Application submitted: July 25, 2018
AOR: November 15, 2018
SA: November 21, 2018
Transferred to Mexico: January 17, 2019
Start of Processing: February 6, 2019
Medical Request: February 11, 2019
Pre-Arrival Services: February 15, 2019
Medical Completed: February 20, 2019
Medical Recieved: March 12, 2019
Decision Made: March 28, 2019
PPR: April 8, 2019
