PR does not expire. A PR *card* does.

It can take up to 6 weeks to receive your new card once the renewal application has been approved.

Please don't shoot the messenger (me)!! I KNOW it's frustrating . It's also summertime & everything slows down for vacations etc.

Send a CSE, or call CIC if it's more than 6 weeks since your Card was approved but you haven't received it.

Till now I didn't receive my renewed PR even though the ecas states that it was approved July 2 ,however the status still INPROCESS.when I expect to get my PR !!! When would the status change !!!

My application was sent on 10 October 2014, they started process in February 2015 the Ecas says that its in process but at the same time there is a second status which says that decision made . My application was sent to local CIC office for secondary review and then they asked me to apply for PRTD as i was outside Canada which i did successfully . Now they sent me the letter mentioning that the secondary review is complete and they are sending approved application to CPC Nova Scotia.

Any idea how long it will take to receive the PR Card after positive secondary review ?

What was the number you called to !!!any number from outside canada !

Just hanged up with CIC ,they told me that they had problem in issuing my card and shall call back after September 13 if I don't receive it ,what I didn't understand is the technical problem that they faced issuing my card including my family cards too ,any one have clue about technical difficulty that CIC facing !!!
