I have searched this and many other forums for Welfare Check, but havent got any relevant information.
Could anyone please tell if it will impact my file processing??
And what exactly is Welfare check??

In order to sponsor someone, you must not be on welfare. If you aren't, there's nothing to worry about.

Welfare is EI?? And if it resulted as Negative, is it good for us??

EI is not welfare. If you have not received social welfare, then the "negative" can only mean you are not on welfare which is good.

Ok thanks alot.. :)
Havent taken any welfare, was thinking of applying for EI, as have to study for an exam..

EI is meant for when you loose your job through no fault of your own e.g. being laid off. If you voluntarily leave/quit your job in order to study, you do not qualify for EI. You can certainly try though.
