Anyone can you please help me? I am in the similar situation where my biometrics status has not been updated. It has been 45 days now
Same here, my wife and I gave biometrics, hers were updated the same day but mines haven't after almost a month. Yesterday I sent a webform with the sheet they gave me at the Service Canada office confirming I provided biometrics. No response yet.

bump.

i'm in a similar situation, and while not worried about my biometrics not being accepted. just curious what does this mean since it's not a usual status change per my research. does this mean my file is dormant atm?

Dec 23, 2024: Received BILs for non-EE PR application for self and spouse.
Dec 30, 2024: Provided biometrics for self and spouse.
Dec 30, 2024: Spouse's biometrics were updated a few hours later in GCKey and Tracker, but not mines
Jan 24, 2025: Sent a webform with a scanned copy of the sticker they gave me at Service Canada of my biometrics record.
Feb 6, 2025: Generic email from IRCC saying that they had received my information and were going to review it.
May 5, 2025: Received a letter in my GCKey account asking me to retake my biometrics as there was an issue with the ones I had provided on Dec 30th (main applicant only).
May 8, 2025: Provided biometrics again in a different Service Canada location.
May 8, 2025: Biometrics updated in GCKey a few hours later.

Hi, thanks for sharing your experience! You mentioned your spouse's biometrics were updated in GCKey but not yours. Do you mean that when you logged in to your account, you could not see your biometrics info ? (biometrics number, date of enrolment and expiry date?)
Mine appear on my profile in the profile/biometrics info, but the application details says they did not receive my fingerprints..

I could see my biometrics info from 2021 when I applied for study permit, not the most recent ones I took for the PR application.

But they've now been updated with the ones I retook yesterday.

yeah. i wouldn't worry about it.
i received my ppr on 31st march. the gc key application status details section showed my biometrics as completed on march 28th (i had submitted on january 22nd), and the tracker showed them as green when the final decision was made (march 31st).

apparently the biometrics completion update on the tracker/gckey (application status details) has to be manually triggered by the case/visa officer. if not, this status automatically appears when the deadline for biometrics is passed, even when you have submitted the biometrics (the information of which is shown in the box in the right-hand corner of gckey, within 24 hours of submitting biometrics).

you can also use this tool to confirm ircc has received your biometrics
