Hi Rahul, I had the same issue linking my application but I solved it by using the province name rather than the city name in the blank of "city of birth". Maybe you can also have a try.
Thanks but you know what I actually received my PR cards today :).... I am so happy...

Hi All,

I landed on 23rd Jan. After that I tried to link my application so many times but I was never able to find my application. I don't know what is wrong I am doing but I am unable to link my application.

Few days back, I had an update in my application was about COPR and landing date. Do I need to call CIC and check why I am not able to link my application? Is it advisable?

Regards,

Rahul
I had a similar problem - I just though I would update on how I solved it (seems to be a problem when landing at the offices). The landing date on the system was actually the date after we did our actual landing. Ie we landed on 13 Feb, but could only link the application using a landing date of 14 Feb.

Maybe Ottawa only processes the applications the following day which causes the issue?

My problem with linking the application was the city of birth. You need to spell this exactly as in your original eAPR application. You may want to view your eAPR and check that info if you are unsure. Viewing eAPR can be done (with all fields locked of course)

Landed on Jan 19th,
Card Dispatched on march 1 ( go to know by calling the customer care)
Card received on March 5

When i linked my file to my cic i have used exact same city name as on my passport,.. and ot worked first time... but there is a letter missing on my landing paper (last letter of my city of birth it was too long to fit in their field) i told officer that this is the case can correct it she said it doesn’t matter as long as we have correct in our system... so try according to ur passport..

Hello guys,

I am just wondering if it is true that under CEC stream, you are not required to be employed while on PR process as long as you finished 1 year of Canadian experience by the time you submit your EE profile.

I have almost finished 1 year of experience that I need to apply for CEC and I would like to know if there will be no negative impact on my PR process if I quit my job sometimes soon. As most of people are here under CEC stream, your valuable advice would be very appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi,

My card was approved a few days ago. Just wondering how I find out if it's dispatched, and also, how long it generally takes to go from approved to delivered?

Thanks!
