Yes I am able to access my application on ECAS but the address listed there is my international address before moving to Canada, not the local address I provided at the airport. The address on ECAS has not been updated.

The address on ECAS is still not updated. I am not sure if I should go ahead and update it myself. This is so frustrating given that also the mail delivery time is 5 to 10 business days.

Go ahead and update it yourself. It usually takes two business days for the address to be updated. Make sure that both home and mailing address are the same and you tick the box when asked.

I just called IRCC and I have been told that my card has been mailed on 11th July and I should expect it to be delivered early or mid next week.

Good luck everyone!

Was your address updated automatically on ECAS? Good luck with receiving your card

No I did not have an address when landed, so had to update it myself after two days when I found temporary accommodation.

Guys, I had a couple of questions concerning a short landing. Assuming completion of the landing procedures, while leaving a friend's address to receive the PR card.

1) If i leave Canada before receiving the PR card. Does this mean i am still capable of applying for a permanent resident travel document in my home country, despite asking them to send the PR card at a Canadian address? More specifically, if my friend receives the PR card, while i am back in my home country, am i still allowed to apply for the permanent resident travel visa ?

2) If cic asks for new photos or anything else required for issuing the PR card, do i have to deliver it in person or it can be mailed ?

3) What are the chances of being rejected for a permanent resident travel visa ?

I landed on 02 may and had received PR cards for my family only last Wednesday 12 July
When I called CIC they mentioned that mine was sent last Monday 10 July
Is this normal ?

It happens sometimes - My husband and I landed in Vancouver on May 10th and we are still waiting for our PR cards (past 65 days). I have been in communication with IRCC, I was told on Monday that mine was mailed out last Thurs July 13th, but my husband's is still in production - hopefully his will be mailed out this week. We are travelling July 29th so I really hope they come in time!

Inland: May 27
Office: Etobicoke
status: still waiting.

I have a good friend of mine getting married on August 5 and I can't miss that wedding, Tomorrow I will call CIC to check my status card and decide what I will do. If the card is being produced and is plant to arrive after August 2 I will travel with my wife (Canadian Citizenship) to Portugal and my brother can get the card in my house and take it with him, he's flying to Portugal on August 20.

What you think?
