I just received an e-mail from CIC confirming that they received my application for PR Card June 14, 2016 (date when I landed). Did anyone else also receive this e-mail? How soon after can I expect it in the mail?

Hello everyone !

I got my PR card in hand. Came in the mailbox today. I stay in Toronto.

It was despatched to me on 4th July 2016. My landing date was 5th May 2016. Now starts the wait for the Health Card !

The day i landed the processing time was 54 days as shown on cic website, a day after i landed the processing time was change to 49 days. in this case, is it meant my wait time is base on 54 days or 49 days ?

Called center today, and I was informed that my PR card was mailed on July 20! Awesome news as I have trips lined up in Sept/Oct!

This 54 or 49 is just average processing time to get card processed. So these are not the exact days in which you can expect the card to be in your post box. Its just rough estimate. It looks like it takes additional 1-2 weeks above these days for most of them.

I called cic today, I was told that our cards where sent June 27th, 28th and 31st. We havnt got them yet. Are they sent by normal mail or do you have to sign for it. :

In my ecas, the home address got vanished. Does it happen like this?

Not worried but trying to see what these guys do while processing PR card.
Mailing address was updated in 3 days after landing with the address i gave during landing.

Yes and Canada day holiday.. but yes a long time to wait..we were getting nervous if it was lost in the mail.

Hi everyone! I had the interview on 21 June and an agent said that I landed on that day and wait for pr card.However ,after waiting for 1 month and try to get social number. They said that my file is not update. I called to landing team and they said they had some mistake about my file,and now they updated my file was landed on July 18 and I have to wait pr card from this day. Too sad. I have to come back to my country . So, Will it be easy to approve for travel document for new permanent residence? I'm so worried about that if they do not approved for my travel document . Please give me some advice.Thank you.

Guys, quick question:

I've updated my address online after landing. However, only the "home address" was changed, the mailing address remains as it was before (the mailing address outside of Canada), even though I distinctly remember ticking the box online which indicates that the mailing address is the same as home address.

What do I need to do? is home address in Canada enough? or do I need to update the mailing address again? I am worried that if I mess around with the address now, I'll be causing my application more delays.

I dont know whats the problem. I have the same issue. We dont have kids, but I have received my card, but we are still waiting for my wife's card to arrive.
