Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Has anyone who landed in last week of April and card mailed out on 24th June, living in Calgary or Edmonton got their PR Card yet?

I live in Edmonton. My wife submitted her picture on April 25th and her PR card was mailed out on July 6th of July 7th. Might receive it this week or next for sure! hoping for the best

Landed May 7th

Congrats , Such a great news. Mine was 27 June, Not received yet. CP brought just a bill .

Landed on May 1 in BC.
Cards mailed on June 29 and June 30. Still not received.

I asked agent, they said BC should be around 3 weeks. will arrive soon.

Keep trying until you get a decent agent. Some time they give inconsistent/incorrect answers. Don't tell them anything about CSE, just tell them that you landed at the beginning of May and you should have received your PR card by now. They will look into your file, as the processing time now is 57 days, and you are above that. Most likely the delay has to do with the Canada Post issues and mishandling of those issues by IRCC.

vsoftco thanx alot for the advice , i did exactly what u said , and from the first try i got the sweetest agent ever , he took information then put me on hold for couple of sec then he told me that my card was shipped on july 4th, i was actually satisfied with this piece of information just to be sure that the other agent was WRONG , i said thank u and was about to end my call ,but he then said wait dont u wanna know abt the other cards and i was like maaaaaaaaan u rock 8) , he took same information for each member , he was so patient and cooperative ,and now we r supposed to recieve them any time soon

Hi guys, I landed on May 23, 2016, and been patiently waiting for my PR card like everyone else.

I received an email from CIC today to acknowledge that my application for the PR card has been received on July 14, 2016, which is today.

Does this mean that there will be another 57 days or so of wait from today? Has anyone else received similar email? If so, did you actually have to wait for another 57 days or so to receive your card?

I don't think you have to wait another 57 days.
But better to call CIC to figure out your pr card status!

I landed in May 4 and received my pr card today through canada post letter mail,which took 70 days in total. So 54 days in CIC website is not that accurate (p.s.I didn't be asked to resubmit photo).Hope all of you can receive your pr card soon.

I landed at the end of April and still have not received my PR card or request for photos. At the border, the officer told me this will be processed automatically, then why does CIC's website state the following "Use this application if you are a permanent resident in Canada and applying for your first PR card."

I sent an email to CIC and they told me it's in process. Not sure how long this is still going to take.

Not sure, I didn't call CIC during pr card processinging. But base on my card which expire on 30 June, I assume it may be produced at that day, then took 2 weeks to deliver.(Could encounter Canada post lockout during those 2 weeks)
