Could you please share which department you talked to? Whenever I call, their response is that they cannot track since there is no tracking number?

I called their customer service number from their website the 1-800 one. Then you press 1-1-6-3 to speak to an agent. No waiting in line, the agent answered right away. They asked the date and address the mail is sent, my mailing address and the CIC Sydney address.

When you track using your COPR T***** number does it show any status?

Calling that a BS is a huge understatement lol.
Cards are NOT sent from Ottawa for a fact.

I think it's not only you. It's all of us that landed in April that are waiting for cards. God knows where Canada Post has placed them, but I hope they show up soon in the mail. The fact is that even though CP never said their operations were disrupted, they've been slacking off for a couple of week, hence all this mail chaos.

I'm getting kind of worried that Canada Post just lost a big pile of cards, since I have seen nobody yet that received their cards after that mailing date, including my own..

And i read some of u guys telling about the date it was mailed .....how to know when its mailed ?

I think some people who landed in April (or who submitted pictures in April) STILL havent received their PR CARDS.
I think you should contact CIC and ask the agent what is the status on your card.

Call the call center and enquire about the status of your pr card. If already mailed out they will tell you on which date.

Be positive and hope for the best. I am sure they have not lost them and they were just being inefficient. Be patient and I am sure they will arrive soon

I try to, but seeing lots of people receiving their card in approximately 2 months after landing, and then have a bunch of people, whos' cards mailed out after June 24 are stuck in Canada Posts' waiting limbo doesn't make me feel very comfortable. Especially since mailing shouldn't take more than 4 days nation wide! But we'll see, it's not like I can do anything about it unfortunately. If it was up to me everybody would get their card sent by courier on a next day delivery basis.

Coming from my personal experience.
(They lost my OINP package, had to send another one. Lucky me, I've been a PR for a month now.)

If a package is lost, it's lost.
They lose packages that have tracking on it.
What do you think, they can find a package without tracking on it?
I doubt it.

These cases/file numbers they create is a business tactic to make you wait, classic.
