This cannot be correct. The PR card processing centre is in Sydney, NS. The Ottawa office is only responsible for PR Visa's. Yet another BS given by a call agent.

In any case, it is quite ridiculous that a letter mailed on June 27th hasn't arrived yet. Here's are the delivery standards published by CP:

I think mine card might have gone travelling around Alberta or something.

Actually is funny, Mine was mailed on 27 June. Not arrived yet. Even a turtle can bring it faster. It should be something wrong. And another thing that is frustrating is the fact that mine was processed, my wife that landed on the same date as me (25th of April) is not processed and what make it more worse is the fact that the agent told me that it should take another 6 weeks. Don't know for what reason????!!!! Its kind of crazy because I will change my address and now I just can't.

I feel your frustration. This is my advice regarding the interaction with the call agents, which is totally only based on my personal experience. The call agents do not know anything (and I mean it when I say "anything"), beyond what they see on their screen. Any information they give you about the expected timeline, updated information regarding what is actually happening with our application (be it a PR card, or other applications), even the required documents, or other pieces of information is usually worthless. I am not saying they are all unhelpful. Some of them are really nice and helping, but they just don't know much at all. They are sitting in an office completely unaware of the actual action that is happening on our files by the officers. When we ask them questions, they don't want to say "I don't know", because that would worsen our frustration, so they will normally give us a random answer that is usually founded on one principle: "Give the applicant an answer that will stop them from calling this line for as long as possible". So don't take their 6-week seriously.

just called cic call center and said my application was delayed for three weeks! I was landed in Apr. 27, and the normal process time should be June 24. Now I need to wait till July 15, if my PR card is still not issued, he can send a message to reminder or whatever.

Landed on 5th May. Called agent this morning who said my card has been despatched through normal post on 4th July to my address in Toronto. Still no sign of it in my mailbox as of this morning. (CP hasn't delivered any mails last week due to the strike). Since they are not technically locked down now, hope It gets delivered soon.

Same here my card was mailed last July 4. Hoping to get it this week, Ive seen a lot of Canada Post trucks today, maybe they are catching up with their backlogs last week.

Mine sent out by June 24th, not received yet.

I hear you! It's so frustrating. The funny thing is that CP didn't lock out its workers and the workers didn't go on a strike, but the mail has just slowed down a lot, to the point that I had no mail at all last week. So well, let's keep fingers crossed!
