Is everyone getting photo request after landing? Or just applications with dependats? Can anyone shed some light on this?

I landed last night and the officer told me they will be using the photo with my COPR for PR card.

There's no real pattern to who's getting photo requests. There's people who didn't get them at all after landing, some of us have with no dependents, some people have had some of their family get PR cards without issue while others got their photos requested again even though the whole family landed at the same time.

Does anyone know if the PR Card Processing Time for an applicant is from the date of landing or as per the weekly updated processing times ?

Yes we are still waiting. My husband resubmitted his new pictures at the end of April 2016. We are still waiting for his PR card.

He landed over 7 months ago!!!!

My wife's photos were received on April 25th and still waiting. Have you tried calling CIC and check the status?

Dear Friends,

Here it comes to say "Thanks and goodbye" to this great forum. Finally, we all have received our PR cards. I really owe lot to this forum which helped me to clarify all my doubts during my PR process and after. The journey started in mid of 2014, and every day and month passed like a year with more anticipation about next stage. But honestly, the enthusiasm and excitement gradually decreased after we landed in December last year, It could be due to the next step of "Job Search" or "Leaving home country". I believe, life is short and we should explore other part of world and live peacefully without giving troubles for others, this was my main intention behind of application to Canada more than earning money. My only humble request to my fellow friends, more than saving money save the natural resources and avoid polluting the nature and leave a livable place for your next generation.

Since my friends, received our cards I am unable to give you the exact date of cards received, though I have given details which might help you.

1. Landed in December 2015
2. Received 1st PR card in Feb 2016
3. Received photo re-submission request with new specification in March for other members
4. Sent new photos for others in March
5. Received all PR cards in June

Take care and All the best.
LIVE and LET LIVE.

Congrats!!

Called CIC this morning, was told my card was still in processing and I should wait until the 2nd week of July. I'm going to call again this Friday hopefully it has been processed by then. With the potential strike of Canada Post in July it makes me really worried when my card will arrive. I am leaving on July 9 for vacation so most likely I will need to apply for a Travel Document.

I landed on April 20 at the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge at Niagara Falls.

Did she give you a reason as to why it will be delayed till 2nd week of July? From my personal experience, every single agent on the phone tells a different story and I would not be surprised if he/she also provided you inaccurate information. I think you will receive yours either this week of by the end of this month for sure!

My PR card is overdue. I've been waiting for more than 2 months. Should I be worried?

when did you land and were you asked to resubmit pictures?

Landed on April 16, 2016. And no I was not asked to resubmit pictures.

I called them today and the agent confirmed that my card was mailed out today. Hopefully I'll get it in the next few days.
