Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

I'm new to this thread, sorry if this question was asked before
But does it make any difference if you land at the border or CIC office in terms of how many days you wait for PR card?

There're all same processing time for PRC, nothing different either land at the border or IRCC 's office.

I would suggest land at the border must easier way, you can go anytime you wish, and don't need to book an appointment.

Hi guys,

Just wanted to inform - i received mine PR card yesterday. ( landed 26 feb)

I did also got same letter request for photo submission on 18 May and i sent it via DHL courier from Abu dhabi on 22 May. As per DHL it was reached 26 may.

Reply to last post -- Yes one should have stamp of photographer/date of photo taken/name and dob - other photo blank on backside.

no need for sealed envelop for photograph -but make sure size is correct as per letter ( in my case they requested 50X70 mm)

hi i have a question , now upon landing we had old photos on our COPR papers , and we showed the officer the new photos , what she did is she took off the old photos and sticked the new ones on the papers , then she said it doesnt matter what u write on the photo coz the glue will ruin the ink anyway and that actually what happened with our photos when she sticked them , she only took 1 photo and sticked it on not 2 , also our photos were glossy finished not mat like the old ones and she said nothing abt that , now im worried if we will get photo resubs for all of us :-\ :-\

Landed April 15th. Called CIC and agent card hasn't even printed yet. Wait another 3 weeks then call. Smh

Any updates on PR cards received by people who had re-submitted their pictures ..what's the latest on that ??

I haven't received it. CIC received my wife's pictures on April 25th. I am expecting to receive it by the end of this month hopefully!

I got a photo resubmission request on 18th April and it's been close to 2 months now I have not received the PR cards ..anyone else in the same boat ..I just saw a few post back someone from Abu Dhabi received their PR card when he had sent his photo in May which has got me worried ..infact I Called up the helpline no. And they said they have no information about the PR card .

I am also sailing in the same boat. Its like close to 2 months n CIC has no answer to my queries

I could be wrong but I think (or at least I would like to think) that photo re submission cases are also given 58 days timeline. Even though I think photo re submissions should be given first priority.

No, it does not. The posts by members can attest to that - various POE, all expressing frustration about the amount of time it's taking.

I called CIC, 58 days is calendar day for sure, not business day
