Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Alhamdullilah received my PR card today landed on 10th April Carway AB.

Landed 16 April 2016 in British Columbia, waiting for PR Card.got Visa in Feb 2016.

Does the place of entry mater in processing times...or these centrally managed?

Also, my current address is updated on ECAS but mailing address is the same from home country...and there is no line of landing when I click on Decision Made : : Is this common ?

Hi Guys, I receive a photo re-submission request through email.

They are requesting for 2 new photo. On back of one, I need to put my name, date of birth, name of studio and address of studio. Does this mean that the other should not have the same details and should be empty?

Does that photo have to be sealed like in a studio's small envelope?

Also, it should come with that letter request. Can I fold that letter?

I am sending this letter and photo from Abu Dhabi directly to Nova Scotia, is that ok?

Sorry if this question may sound stupid, I just need a clarification and don't want this to be repeated again. Thank you.

Just wanted to inform - i received mine PR card yesterday. ( landed 26 feb)

I did also got same letter request for photo submission on 18 May and i sent it via DHL courier from Abu dhabi on 22 May. As per DHL it was reached 26 may.

Reply to last post -- Yes one should have stamp of photographer/date of photo taken/name and dob - other photo blank on backside.

no need for sealed envelop for photograph -but make sure size is correct as per letter ( in my case they requested 50X70 mm)

Hi, may I know which studio did you go in Abu Dhabi please and where specifically so I can have my photo re-taken on the same? And which DHL office did you send from here in Abu Dhabi? I might go there as well to be sure.

I did used Flash photo studio - near national cinema - behind kanoo bldg. -near to fatima bin mubarak st/ hamdan st crossing .

However as such photograph size and specs matter - not the photo studio.

and DHL office i used was marina mall one - in fact DHL courier guys comes up to your location to pick up.

yes -- they stamped address of studio and date of photo taken hand written.Flash studio LLC - phone no +971 26725294.

i suggest you call before moving there - as you know during this is ramadan period and friday - they might not be open all day.

Just few additional tips:

1. make sure the photo is in mat finish not glossy
2. make sure your face is in the center of the photo frame unlike indian passport photo
3. when photo studio uses it's stamp, it might be possible the ink could stick and spoil on other photo you send so ensure it's not sticky. It could be hand-written too.

And they said they have no information about the PR card .

I am sorry for your issue and I hope you will get your card soon.
Could you please share with us the email which you received from CIC??
I just need to know the photo size is it different from the which was requested from Abu Dhabi visa office at the time of passport request.

It seems CIC are not updating the e-case with status complete like before

And they said they have no information about the PR card .

I resubmitted pictures on April 22nd and CIC received them on April 25th. I think we might get our cards hopefully by the end of this month. Or even first week of July. Lets just hope for the best!

I hope if we stamp both the pictures instead of one, it is not an issue!

Current processing time is 58 days. Hence they will look at your file only on June 11-12
