Hi Every one,
Please suggest..

I did my landing with wife and son on Toronto - 26 FEB 2016.

My Son got PR card. But me and my wife is still waiting for PR card.

Further I got mail requesting my photo with 50X70mm specification - two weeks back - which i already send.

But no news for my wife PR card. No email request - NOTHING.

as its already 96 days past - (ie 6 weeks more than 53 days) Should we file CASE SPECIFIC INQUIRY?

regards
RAkesh

Thanks for quick reply - but we came back to work place in UAE after 1 month ( in MArch 2016) and from here unable to call center no 1-888-242-2100.

Is there any other number we can contact to?

Call 1.613.944.4000 from outside Canada.

what is the IRCC number regarding PR card inquriy?

From inside Canada: 1-888-242-2100

From outside Canada: 1-613-944-4000. This is the main number for Global Affairs Canada. These options will get you to an agent: 1 1 1 2 3 2 0.

Good luck!

Thanks.. i did call on this number +1-613-9444000- pressed 1-1-1- directed to CIC 2-3-2 -0 -- after 20 minutes of waiting time ( called at 1130 am Nova scotia canada time)... call center agent answered nicely.

(if some once wants to call - can directly press above nos)

He answered system shows we need to send my wife's photo also with same specification. He told me same mail was sent for her also.. but matter of fact is i have not received any such mail.. i rechecked all mail folders - junk and trash even..

will send photos,,, lets see..

So now the timeline is 58 calendar days for the new PR. I resubmitted my wife's photos and they were received on April 26th 2016. At that time, it said it will take 49 calendar days. So I am wondering would it take 49 calendar days or the timeline gets revised for 58 days? I just dont understand what takes so long AFTER photo re submission. It is really frustrating!

Seems like we go to the back of the queue with all the people that landed when we send photos, pretty annoying!

This is very annoying indeed! I am pretty sure CIC needs to prioritize the people who re submitted their pictures instead of sending us back in the queue. I think 58 days timeline applies to people to just landed. But obviously not to the ones who landed in March and re submitted their pictures in April.

CIC's view: They have already spent designated time on your PR card application and found your application incomplete with the photographs not in the requested format.

Maybe I have a wrong perception here but I don't understand how difficult it is to get photographs with correct specification in the first place. When you receive CoPR there is an additional document dedicated entirely to specification of photographs.

I did not receive any document regarding photo specifications with my CoPR. My photo was attached to the CoPR. I think they don't know what photos they have issues with until they try to print the card - which is why my husband's original photo was fine and somehow mine was not.
