Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

Hi Guys,

When i expect to received my PR card ? Please advise if there anyone (April,2016) who got the PR card last week.

Flagpole did on April 03, 2016 ..

Landed on April 21. As of today processing time is 53 days, that's June 14 for me.

Hi All,

I have completed landing on April 7 2016. Today is 53rd day. I spoke to the service agent today, as per her my PR card application status is in progress. No photos required at this point of time & there is no processing notes attached to file file. She asked me to wait until June 20 2016 & call back if I did not receive any communication from CIC.

As per her, currently there is a general delay of 3 weeks in the entire process....looks like the wait time is increasing day by day....hopefully we all get our PR cards soon.

I landed April 08 and like you, I also called CIC for an update and have told the same. They said to wait for another 2 weeks in my case. Honestly, I hope CIC will improve this. Let's just hope for the best.
