Hi Azeemmet,

Did you send the photo re-submission directly from the country you are in or you mail it to your friend/family in Canada then they send it to CIC?

I sent it directly from my home country.

Hi ain08,

you can send your photos directly from your home country, and no problem at all. I also sent my photos from home country and now i received all of my family PR cards.

Thank you Myat and Azeemet. This is actually a relief. Because if that is the case I will send it directly from here in Abu Dhabi once they ask. As of the moment, I am still hoping and praying they won't ask for photo re-submission.

I will keep the group posted. Now it is exactly 51 days since I landed (April 08). I read that those people who landed last week of March started to receive their PR cards so hopefully, within the next two weeks I'll have good news to share.

Hey forum, Landed on April 1st and got my PR card on May 27th.
See you all in the citizenship section in 3 years!

Hi Kid,

Where did you land and where is your address? Did they ask for new photo? :)

Thanks,

It's actually 53 now so check your mail next Monday

Has anyone been told by IRCC that there is no record of resubmitted photos in their system?

I have proof of delivery from March 17 but per the agent I spoke to on Friday, they've got nothing.

Been asked to send photos for spouse and child yet again. Landed Jan 19. Come June 19, our wait for the PR card will be longer than our wait time from AOR to PPR!

Congratulations! I wanted to ask do you know when was your card sent out? wana know how long it took for mail to rech

If CIC wants new set of photos, then request for photos takes 50 odd days and then it take another 50+ days to get the PR card ?

There are a lot of us waiting. Hubby landed November 2 - resubmitted pics in April.... still waiting 7 months now.

Hello everyone, My Timeline
Landed Dec 24 2015 (Douglas, "Peace Arch" BC )
I got request for new photo. Mar 16 2016
131 days since landing

Now my question is, Is this normal? I mean I have been waiting since Dec for my PR card, and in March I get hit with a new photo request by mail. Is there anyone with similar timelines?
Its funny you think the process is over once you land, but truly there is way more to the process once your here :(

For me it was 67 days between landing and photo request - now I am expecting 50+ days extra for my card. *sigh*

This is where I feel it is important for Inland Applicants to land at your nearest immigration office instead of border.

- You know whether your photos are acceptable or not. If not, then you can easily find nearby place get new photos.
- You don't have to go to Service Canada to update your sin number.
- You can be certain that any error on your CoPR will be corrected.
- Waiting time is less as they have numerous counters to process.

I did my inlanding May 19th. Am hoping you are right. We had to bring new photos so that will cut some time down for sure.
