Hello everyone,

My wife landed since January and she recently got a request to submitt new passport photos for the PR card.

However, the e-mail doesn't specify the number of pictures needed.

Can someone tell me how many pics are needed ?

Thanks !

She would need to provide 2 pictures. Specs and details are on CIC website.

Hello Guys
I landed on March 13 ,2015 and I have not revived My PR Card yet .

After Landing, in My ECAS only my home Address changed to the Canadian Address but My Mailing Address remained unchanged and is still my home country Address.
IS this a problem ? Could this be a reason for the delay ?

The option button for changing the Address online is only available for "Home Address" but there is no option for changing the "mailing Address".For changing the mailing Address is says "Contact Us" .
Have you seen a similar situation with other applicants and they still got they PR card ?
Thanks.

Dear Seniors,

Need some urgent advice, I am doing my landing in Canada on 1st June'2016 with my family. We will be staying for 3 weeks post which we have to return to India , I plan to move for good 1 year later ( due to some commitments).

1) Will there be any problem if I am leaving the country?
2) I will be giving my friends address as the mailing address - will the PR cards be handed over to them?
3) In case of photo re submission - will they accept photo's taken in India?

Awaiting your replies...Thank you

No. I myself made a short landing for 10 days in Jan, 2016 and came back to UK for work.

2) I will be giving my friends address as the mailing address - will the PR cards be handed over to them?
Yes. Your PR cards will be mailed to the Canadian address you share with IRCC while landing.

3) In case of photo re submission - will they accept photo's taken in India?
Yes. I got photo request in March and I took photo here in UK. Shared the UK Photo Studio address with IRCC and it was accepted. PRC was delivered on May 12, 2016 to my friend's address in Toronto.

Awaiting your replies...Thank you

Hope it answers all your queries :)

I landed on 29th April and basically i was requested for photos along with the Passport. I am hoping that i would not be requested for photos again.

Hi Srihari, did they ask for your photo and passport through mail? Or they asked it when you landed?

I mean during the time they request for passport to issue VISA, they also asked for 2 photos with the dimension 50mm*70mm.
I have seen the same photo on COPR and i didn't give any during landing.

Yes, it is okay to spend as much time you want in Toronto or anywhere you like.
2- Can i give a friend address in Ontario or i have to give New Brunswick address. if not how can i manage this if i am leaving after 40-50 days. can i submitt P.O Box number in New Brunswick.
Yes, you can give them address of your choice, but it can not be a PO Box address. It has to be a home address.
