Hi Guys,

I landed at CARWAY on Sunday May 15,2016.

How much time these days to get PR card. My wife has to travel in the month of July end.

My husband and I landend on Jan 5th
My husband got his PR CARD on Feb 28, 2016.
I called CIC on March 1st and they said they have asked for photo submission. They sent me the letter by email
On March 7th I got the letter throug mail.
On March 2nd I sent the photos out and CIC got the photos on March 8th.
I have called CIC several times and every time I call they say they havent had any updates and I have to wait.
One time I called and the CIC agent said they can not give any information if it hasnt passed the 6 months waiting time for photo submission ( what ???? )
so last week I Called again and the CIC agent said I had two options the first option : wait . Second option : submit the photos again. So decided to send the photos again. Im waiting for PR CARD .... hope we all get ours soon!!

I am wondering how long it takes to issue a PR Card after photo resubmission. CIC received my wife's photos on April 26th, 2016. Any idea by when can I expect her PR card to arrive? Thanks!

Landed March 25th at Toronto Pearson Int'l Airport, We received our PR cards on 18th May.

We were not asked for photo re-submission.

Hi guys, i m in dilemma,

My case: photo resubmission request:31 march
cic received my pix on 6th april,
card dispatched 16 may

I called cic today n dey told me dat the card has been dispatched on 16 th may, n unfortunately i m in india on the very same day as per indian time i applied PRTD. Now is there any way to get PRTD refund n cancel application in between or which one should i use while landing - card or PRTD.

What should i do. This is like bad luck n total dilemma.

Help plz

I suggest you don't stop your PRTD process, you can travel with your PRTD and collect your PRC after you arrive in Canada.

When did you submit your photos first ? Was it last year ?

It was when we submitted our PR application, which is September 2014. No other photos after that. We brought new photos with us when we were landing just in case, but the border officer didn't take them.

Sometimes the old photos can be scanned in a way that it fits the new specs.
If they can do it, they won't ask for new photos. If they can't scale and fit the old photo, they will ask for new one.
While my really really old pic from Apr 2014 was accepted, my wife had to send in new pics.

Landed on May 14, so know I'm nowhere close to receiving mine. Anyone know how long it takes to be able to see the PR card status on ecas? When logging in for that purpose, it just shows my complete PR app.
