Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

I landed on 18th of october then i got resubmission photo request on 2nd feb.
photo sent on 3rd feb...and today i got another request that your photos were rejected
and now they r asking for another photos.....
i dont no what to do now...stuck

Canadian Government is pretty picky when it comes to photos. Try Costco's or Canada Post's photo centers this time, and good luck!

Happy to report after 146 days I received my PR Card! (I think that's about average for Vancouver?!)

When you received email from CIC, they send you 3 address or 2 address? Which address should I send? should I send first address or second one as per below as in my email CIC didn't mention about courier address (which is 49 Dorchester Street), I will used registered mail to send. Pls advice.

I received email yesterday, when I call cic ,agent told me they mailed me for new photo.so she just email me instruction so I don't need to wait for letter .. Also with all my papers I print email that she emailed me and I mailed that as well ..

I just spoke CIC agent and just received email requested 2 passport photos as expected for my wife PR card. But I didnot received any forms? need to send any form together with photos or no need?

When you send two photos,

(i) what do you write behind of two photos and
(ii) can I write photo shop name and address from outside of Canada?
(iii) and which address do you send?
(iv) need any form or cover letter need to submit?

I haven't got the card yet. You have got the details and address correct. Just send the envelope by a registered post so that you can send the tracking number in CSE for their reference.

my new photos have delivered to cic on 19th feb via registered post so do i have to inform them via CSE , if yes then which category should i select because they don't have PR Card - new/landed immigrate option in that form.

Please advise.

The CIC Call center agent confirmed that the photos are accepted and that card is in production. Don't worry about the paper mail for photos request. If you have already sent the pics via FedEx and it's delivered, the job is done.

How can I check my photos accepted? Just ask the agent directly?

Canada SUCKs man.

I landed in May 2015, they sent me a letter in Oct asking for new photos. I sent in new photos in Nov. Now they sent me a letter asking for photo with new specs, they changed the specs for the photo. WTF! CANANDA!
