I have called CIC again Today and the guy told me my card sent to production and should be ready by Feb 22.


Not sure how truth this information is. did anyone had same answer and recd card on approx. time period?

Please update the status accurately. So that everybody gets a decent idea as to when to expect their PR CARD.

landed 1st october.... photo resend request on 1st feb...resend the photo...

spoke to CIC agent ..i was informed that they can not tell when i will get it

Do you think going to my local MP will help ?

I called agent and have been advised ( after 103 days ) that they need new photos. Moreover agent said I have to wait for official letter which was sent out on 10th Feb, then only I can send photos to them otherwise they may not accept my photos , which is completely ridiculous.
I asked for time frame after photo submission and she said there is no fix time frame.

For those who received their PR cards without pics , are luckiest one.

Btw landed on 01st Nov 2015 at YVR. no update on ECAS and no email.

In same problem, landed on 17th November, I call on monday he said on 1st februari send letter for new photo, but still nothing !!!,
Someone who send new photos and get the PR card

The agent advised me to work on the instructions sent in the e-mail rather than waiting for that letter. So, I have sent the pics without actually receiving the letter. They mailed that letter a week back, still I haven't received that letter but my photographs were delivered to them on 10th.

please advise what information I should have to call the call center to ask about my PR card

PR card not yet received.

I guess i have to wait for another 4 months before i get my PR card.

I just got photo resubmit request. Anybody got PR card after photos resubmitted?

Negetive , I have not seen resubmitted photo request confirming receipt of card so far , one friend landed in august , submitted photos in oct first week. I submitted photos in mid November , no news . we are just on the mercy of cic workers , as no timelines apply for resubmitted photos . just pray god, nothing else will help. not even calling cic again. they wont tell you a thing , you will only hear - you need to wait and be patient . if cic needs something they will contact you , else they will send your pr card ( even if its after 10 years )

Not sure if CIC workers cannot really help by pulling out the records or they are trained to grill the new immigrants in such situations . whatever it is , its quite harrassing and certainly not a good way to greet immigrants.
