Waiting for PR Card after landing - add your case here

3 weeks and counting since they received my son's photos! No news whatsoever.

I arrived on 29 Oct. and so far there was any news . Today I called them and they told me that they have send request to submit new photos two days ago. So I am back to initial situation.

So they need more than 3 months to see that my photos are wrong. Such an inefficients way to work.

Anyone know how long is taking after resubmission of photos ? I guess there is another queue.

RESUBMIT the status in the first link, make sure you use the same forum "username" as previous submission. I will merge the data.

Please update the status accurately. So that everybody gets a decent idea as to when to expect their PR CARD.

hai friends please help, i did my landing in carway border on jan 19.but the officer did not ask for any mailing address for my pr card.can anybody tell whether i will recieve it in my mailing address (consultant address) or in my home address? i have both address in canada.plz help.

The agent I got in touch with today informed me that there is no time frame once they receive the photos.

Its actually worse than that. I landed 28th August. Got letter asking new photos 5th October. Sent them 7th October and still nothing, Cic helpline are most unhelpful saying they no idea when i ll get card as there no timeline whatsoever for this situation.

ANyone knows if we show the travel tickets it will help to process faster ?
Can you advice what are the options when it gets closer to travel day and you have not PR card , can we apply for urgent processing ?

Urgent processing is done only for PR card renewal. It is not applicable for New PR card

Guys just received a phone call from my brother that he has received my maple leaf card! Best of luck to everybody waiting for the same.

Guys December landers started getting there cards I believe they will decrease the process time today to 65 days

I was going to send my passport to get travel documents today, but looks like its going faster or its my impression at least...

I landed Jan 1st, and am already out of the country...planning to go back around March 10. I think I should get it before that. Dont know what to do lol Send the application for PRTD or just wait? Dont have the flight back yet anyway. Its just that I want to go back as soon as I can.

And I dont really like the process for PRTD. I have to send to some office that will send then to Paris and then go back there, and then they send to me... Too complicated ^^

I don't know where this guy landed but at least one person landed on Dec.05 has got his card today Feb.11.
I will update it once I know where he landed.

Oh and also one guy landed at Etobicoke on Dec.02 got his card yesterday, so two people I've read from other forum landed in December have got the cards recently, hopefully it will be our turn soon!
