I called fwy times in last 2 weeks .. On Jan 18th cic told me that my PRC is approved and waithing to be printer, yesterday when I call same info ..

Landed in toronto on 7th Oct 2015, Card received by my friend on 26th January 2016, and posted to me and officially recieved today by me

Called CPC today from the international call number +1-613-944-4000. They told me that they have sent letters for me, my wife and daughter together on Jan 27th for re submitting our photos. So far I have received only my wife's letter and nothing for me or my daughter. Also, when I asked him how long will it take to get my cards once we submit the photos, he said [size=10pt][size=10pt]up to 6 months![/size][/size] Seriously!

God help us!

By the grace of GOD GOT MY PR CARD TODAY landed October 31st 2015 at Toronto Pearson Airport received it Feb 4, 2016 After 97 days wohoo it came before my flight Allhumdullilah
and I called CIC monday they said it will come after FEB 13 so they dono anything just pray and it will come to you . Yay!!

p.s I got no email or update on ECAS about it!!
No photo retake request aswell

Call cic tomorrow ask about your card and ask them to change your address

I landed on October 18th 2015. Today received letters for me and my daughter as well asking for updated photographs. I guess they changed the photo criteria on Jan 04, 2016 and when we landed there was a different criteria, so the request for revised photos is understandable. What I don't understand is that after submitting the photos will I have to wait for another 4/5/6 months? When I talked to the agent, that's what it felt like (he said it may take up to six months) and it is absolutely freaking me out!

Are there others on the forum as well that have sent photos on their request but since there is no reply from them?
Generally how much time does it take for them to send the cards after the photos have been sent?

This is really upsetting me.

The COPR seems to be worth bugger all. Are we PR or not? We have the paperwork, we completed the landing, we can get a SIN (and start paying taxes), but here in BC we can't get a photocard driver's licence, cant get healthcare card and can't travel without a problem.

I have flights booked to see family in the UK next month and if I have to change my flights to get a PRTD it'll cost me $1000 for myself and my kids. It's SO unfair
